Matthew WilliamsonItalian luxury brand -BULGARI - MATTHEW WILLIAMSON FOR BULGARI MINAUDIEREfamous for jewelry, timepieces, & skincare (The choice of the Imperial Hotel in Vienna!) has tapped  British Fashion designer Matthew Williamson to design a capsule accessory collection for Spring 2011.  Williamson is known for his unique sense of color and avant-garde design.   The move could be brilliant for both houses.   While the name BULGARI certainly draws a demand for jewelry and timepieces, the legendary house has not been able to create huge excitement for its two year old handbag business.   Similarly, though Williamson is appreciated by the fashion flock for his talent, the girls who shop have not made him a must have collection to date.   This might MATTHEW WILLIAMSON FOR BULGARIbe the magic synergy both houses are looking for - like lighting a match!  The accessories are very recognizably Matthew Williamson, perfect pieces to wear back to his own collection.    Exciting to read about a great collaboration of two talented partners!
