Yamamoto makes a point in Meat Market

Yoji Yamamoto

is known for the architectural detailing that is evident in every design.   Clearly, the new boutique in the Meat Market of NYC is a metaphor for those details.  Rebuilt from the ground up - this site was the former home to Boss Models.   However, that old building was certainly not camera ready.   The new space is clean, sparse and really showcases the clothing.    The store is bathed in natural light all day due to the large picture windows that surround the store.    Even the dressing rooms are suspended circular curtains that seem to just float in the store.

For those of you die hard Y-3 fans - the partnership with Adidas is just across the street in a brand new space as well!
