NYC PREWAR ARCHITECTURE - UNIQUE PERSPECTIVES
With the extreme hustle and bustle that makes New York hum with energy, it's easy to miss some of the most important details in the city. The details that are up in the air - sort of. With so many prewar buildings that set a standard decades ago with extreme attention to details, the stunning architecture should not be missed. Of course many of the most spectacular views are reserved for the lucky few that live in some impeccably maintained buildings. One such building is London Terrace Towers in West Chelsea. The building is quite frankly massive. It spans one entire city block from 23rd to 24th street from 9th to 10th avenue. It's slightly confusing as the 4 corner buildings are referred to as London Terrace Towers and the buildings along 23rd and 24th street are called London Terrace Gardens. The towers are Private Co-ops, and the Gardens are rental apartments. All are 24hour doorman buildings, all have a list of amenities. Of course, the buildings have been home to a list of celebrities and celebrated cultural icons for years. From rock stars to movie stars - many call London Terrace Home.
