In addition to the array of designs Massimiliano Giornetti creates in his studio and oversees at the house, the brand regulary creates special initiatives like Ferragamo "World" and of course - the on-going prestige program - Creations.  This season, there are even more exciting options paying homage to Salvatore's archives.  The capsule collection from shoe designer Edgardo Osorio is flying out of boutiques as quickly as they are arriving!  Osorio is known for the sexy colection - Aquazurra he created from his own base in Florence, Italy.  Starting his own legacy with the Ferragamo legend so close has clearly influenced with Colombian born, and Miami & London raised modern talent.    These shoes launched in New York, Bal Harbour, and Beverly Hills - all international destinations for luxury design, and also known as places where women wear sexy shoes!!    If you haven't already - contact every client you have - because these will go fast. As a compliment to the strappy, sexy shoes available at Ferragamo this season, there are also items for women with very different style personalities.. take a last look at a few items from Fall that are going going, soon to be gone!  With all the stunning runway collection styles that walked the catwalk - you may have missed these edgy looks form pre-collection.   One huge trend in fashion has been the embrace of edgier looks - a mix of goth, punk, and hip hop are mixing in a way we haven't seen before.  The idea of everyday shapes created by luxury brands is a sign of our oh-so-casual culture in 2015.  The amazing success of designer sneakers has proven the trend.  Interesting to remember that in the late nineties Marc Jacobs put "grunge" on the runway at Perry Ellis - and lost his job for it!  Fast forward to 2015 and the allure of ultra-luxe versions of everyday styles is coveted by many.  Take the  "Sweatshirt".  The embroidered Tiger in black and brown melange from the pre-fall collection is one fantastic example.   Paired back to the sexy leather pant-   That a look to collect.   Can't you just picture Rihanna or Rita Ora leaving a restaurant in this look?  What an awesome gift either of these pieces would make.  Entrance Maker! - Strappy sandal with Feather "wings" - $1,250.00

The Pre-Spring 2016 collections incorporate iconic references to the legacy of Salvatore Ferragamo told through the new creations of Massimiliano. Told through five clear themes or reference points, these collections can each tell a story.  In fact, they are the tools to create a story   Every client and every associate creates a story by choosing pieces that come together in a way personal to her.  Each starting point has endless combinations as you dress her from head to toe.

The Spring themes offer an enormous range. Starting with with the crisp GRAPHIC group - which is black (the presence of all color) and white (the absence of all color). Arranged in stripes and abstract plaid / woven print, these bags, shoes, and RTW pieces are an exciting way to add detail to most wardrobes.   A simple black pant can be electrified with a black and white pump, sandal, or Varina.   These pieces worn back to solid pieces are clean and classic- OR - combined with color blocked pieces to create something REALLY dynamic.  Ending with COLOR - “SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW” dissects Mr. Ferragamo’s original Rainbow wedge - once slice at a time.  Orange, Purple, Green, Yellow, and Red.   Her favorite color?  You have it.  In an iconic Sofia - or a new shape she doesn’t own. Sleek Structure on the Spring Runway - Just a hint of what is come in 2016!  A bright bag, shoe, or jacket is novel by nature and can be an important addition to any well dressed woman’s arsenal of killer fashion to make her shine.  A leather coat in bright pink is a luxury - to say the least.  It is a statement and empowering.   Its bold and feminine at the same time.   *Add in the styles from Edgardo Osorio we just mentioned -and that’s fireworks!!
In between these extreme ends of the color spectrum?  We have STRIPES & COLOR BLOCKING which acts as a bridge from the Fall to Spring collections. Embroidered TIGER sweatshirt - $770.00 - paired with sexy leather pants - $2,900.00  Once again Massimiliano’s prediction of key colors for the season were on the mark.  He had the ability to know Emerald Green was one of the hottest accent colors of Fall.. and additionally, that Yellow would be everywhere this Spring.   So before Spring runway ships, pre collection sets the stage.  With FLORAL ACCENTS - the innovative printing of oversized blooms on calfskin also celebrates these different textures -the shocking pink against solid leather. The Irony of the natural flow of flowers painted on a very structured and utilitarian shaped bag like "New lock" is exciting.  That is Modern.  That celebrates now!   While a full look of pink might not be her style - a touch of a floral print, or one pink stripe worn against solids is so chic.  URBAN SAFARI - In this group of earth tones we feel a "natural" reference to Salvatore’s extensive use of raffia and natural fibers.   The brilliant origami belt from Fall runway is brought forward and animated in rich brown leather.  This silhouettes in this group also sets the stage for what is to come in Spring runway.   
Five “stories” or starting points. A Closer Look at the super chic "Graphic" group as an iconic Sofia Bag! - The detail is hypnotic.Deep Green Sofia w/ Gold Hardware - soon to be CLASSIC!   Finding the first piece that speaks to her is the most fun.  Then adding and adding.  There is newness in the boutique every month.  Each delivery stands on it’s own, but overall tells the story - or vision of the season. The Mink Wrap/Top from Fall Runway heads to the beach in Elle Magazine this month. It's clear pop culture icons like Kim K and Nicki Minaj have a strong influence on fashion stylists! The unexpected styling can reach new audiences with a pleasant surprise.
