One of the best kept secret gardens that are all around NYC...where is it?

NYU faculty housing just below Washington Square Park. Several acres of space that are a true oasis in the middle of NYC.. while the garden is not open to the public, that doesn't detract from the pleasure of walking through the public access pathways.. don't miss the thirty foot Picasso inspired sculpture that is literally the elephant in the room.. or in this case.. the garden!

November 28th, 2008. The sky was a beautiful shade of blue on this crisp day in Madrid. The colors of that city really stay with you. I will never forget the terra-cotta color against this blue sky.

NY Public Library Lion

The NY Public Library is one of the most iconic symbols of NYC. The lions that flank the entrance on 5th Ave. & 42nd Street are as regal as it gets! Just behind the library is one of my favorite parks in NY. Bryant Park has an old world charm that is uniquely NY. In the Summer there are movies shown on the lawn, and in the Winter there is ice-skating.. the rest of the year - it is just charming. Don't miss it on your next trip to NYC.
